Our Year 2023

We hope that you had a smooth and happy transition into 2024. With the end of the first quarter approaching, we would like to come back to what we achieved together at EA Switzerland in 2023. Thank you for your participation, none of this would be possible without you!

  • Intro to EA Seminars (2 in Lausanne, 2 in Zurich)

  • Artificial Intelligence Safety Fundamentals (AISF; 1 in Lausanne, 1 in Zurich, 2 in Bern)

  • Alternative Proteins Fundamentals (1 in Lausanne)

  • Public talks & discussions on:

    • Effective climate interventions (in Zurich and Bern)

    • AI Governance (3 events in Zurich and Lausanne)

    • Risk governance

    • Cause prioritization

    • Alternative proteins (in Zurich and Lausanne)

• More socials than we can count (hikes, Christmas events, board games nights, etc.)

  • 4-week Career Planning Program

  • 1-on-1 career advising

• Full-time programs

  • Swiss Existential Risk Initiative (CHERI): 8-week summer research fellowship

  • The Swiss AI Safety Camp (SAISC): 2 iterations of a multiple-day bootcamp

Our members also participated in EAGxNordics, EAG London, EAGxWarsaw, EAGxBerlin, and EAG Boston.
